What size core plug for timing cover wp hole?
I just plugged mine, unfortunately I couldn't find a plug that fit well (the small hole is 18mm and the larger one is 31mm). For my '96 timing cover, I ended up using a 1.25" disc-style plug that I ground down to ~1.22" to fit the larger hole.
I "jerry-rigged" mine up with a small bolt, a nut, two fender washers and some RTV. I had to grind a little on the inside washer to make sure I had clearance for the double roller timing chain.
There is little to no oil pressure right there, so it doesn't have to be a perfect seal.

just take the cover with you to the parts store. as long as the countermen aren't a bunch of jack offs they should have a caliper and measure it out and order in the right size if they don't have it.
I gave him the sizes above, the problem is that they're uncommon and nobody wants to have to order a bunch to sell you only one.
