what size bolt on stock y pipe??

hey everybody what size bolt is on a stock y pipe?? the 3 ones on each flange,,,thanks

If you're talking about the diameter of the pipe, I'm pretty sure it's 2.5"

the bolts that go into the flanges on the y pipe

If i remeber right they are the Metric equivlant to 3/8's. I'll double check when i got out to the shop . I'll let you know for sure tonite.

There is a stud and a nut, if you mean where the y-pipe connects to the exhaust manifold. The nut is M10x1.5, the studs are ~54mm long.

Yep, shoebox is right again

....Call me stupid but If i remember right it is a standard size socket....i think 5/8...

i tryed 5/8 its a little bit to big...i tryed a 15 mm it seems to fit but my socket is not deep enough....im gettin frustrated i need to get all that shiet off so i can get my long tubes on...

Socket size is 15mm and I suggest you use a deep 6 point socket only. Also spray it with some penetrant like PB Blaster, first. The studs are notorious for breaking and it's a big headache if they do.
