What are signs of a bad torque converter?
Ok my tranny has been making a wining noise lately at low rpms before the exhaust drowns it out. I have a trans go shift kit in it with stock conveter. Its shifts firm but is inconsistant. And at WOT before shifting into 3rd sometimes it jumps up about 800 rpms like its in neutral for a secound then goes into 3rd. The tranny only has 43k on it but the conveter has 88k Let me know what your opinon is. Do you think it my converter or something internal?
