What should i spend my $3500 on?
I have a stock LT1, flowmaster muffler,rebuilt 4l60e, CAI. I'm on the fence about whether to 383 it or rebuild the 350 lower end and put heads/cam/headers. also heard about some guys swapping in LS1 but i love that LT1 sound. Please show me the way. thanx

how many miles are on the LT1? i would say just do h/c and headers

le3 heads and bret cam if you need to just have the shortblock rebuilt with fresh pistons and bearings. that is what will yeild the most reliable fastest car you can have on $3500

I'm in a similar situation, except that my engine needs to be overhauled so I might as well mod it with better parts in the process. I have $5,000 to play with , but some of that's gonna have to be for labor.

Ai heads/cam combos have been proven to run faster and put out more power than LE3 if you are looking for the best combo available. For bottom ends definitely find a good local shop... ask around. Your money will go MUCH further doing your own install work too!

Depends on your intended usage. If you're looking to drag race heavily go with the 150 shot and the parts needed to get it hooked. If its mostly a street car I'd suggest an M6 swap. It is an incredible change in the fun factor. Good luck with your decision.
