What Should I do next?

I have the stuff listed in my sig....

Should I do a nitrous kit? Wet or dry? I'm leaning twords wet, but I'm wondering if you need to install a aftermarket fuel pump to support about a 100 shot. I was also thinking heads, but I'm not sure if the work and price is worth it.

I'm thinking before the nitrous to install a lt4 KM, and probably a msd 6AL, but other than that I think I'm pretty set for bolt-ons.

I'd like to hit a mid-high 12 in the 1/4, the car hasn't been to the track yet, but I really think I should be at least low 13s with decent driving.

I would say head work to waken up your cam.

Porting of the stock heads or would you just suggest to get the lt4 heads and have them worked instead? Both things are so expensive.

The person who I bought the car from took it to the track once before the cam install and ran 13.4 @ 106. The car now has the comp cam, 1.6rrs, and better tires (avs es100s). I think it *may* have a 12 in it, but I'd just like to be solidly in the 12s.

I would go either heads or gears, but probably both in due time. If you do heads you'll probably want another program, but I dunno how many people have said that gears are the biggest bang for the buck on these cars.

Of course, you could always just juice it. Not sure about the aftermarket fuel pump for a wet kit. Call up the nitrous company that makes the system you're thinking of and ask their tech support, I'm sure they'll be able to answer that without much speculation.

---Hope this helps. J-Bird

If you get LT4 heads, you have to have a LT4 intake. Not worth it. Just port the stockers.

Is there any way to port them yourself, or is it best to have them professionally ported and flow tested?

Here is a guide if you want to do it yourself. Lloyd Elliot will do it as well. He is really good. I think he'll do it for 400-600. Not 100% sure on the price. Just a ballpark.
