What Should I do?
What Should I do?
We had a huge storm here. golf ball sized hale and unbelievable winds. Basically my car was in the garage, but it is covered with dirt and dust (our garage is not air tight and lets a lot off air around the edges of the doors). The hood was wide open facing the oposite direction-so it was slightly blocked. And was shut by my dad shortly after the storm began. I have yet to go home yet because I am up at college right now. I just finished up the rockers and thank goodness I got the covers back on it, otherwise my engine would probably been ruined.
Things I am worried about:
1. the oil dipstick was out--dirt getting down in there.
2. My nitrous purge solinoid had no line on it, just an open fitting. I assume that since it is normally closed that this will be okay, and that the first time I purge it it will blow any dust/dirt out.
3. Other things I haven't even considered.
What do you all suggest I do?

Re: What Should I do?
I wouldn't worry about the dipstick much.. but it's an easy solution if you want. Take air from a compressor and blow it down the dipstick tube, then change the oil. If you're really worried about it, change the oil again after a couple of miles.
Disconnect the solenoid and air it out.
