What should I do?

Ok I allready bought a set of used lt1 heads with low miles that have the lt4 springs etc.. These are alose the 52cc heads. And I also purchased a lt4 hot cam at the same time too. I was planning on getting the heads lightly/street ported and throwing on some bolt-on's as well.

I know the hot cam is a great cam, and it kicks a$$. But Im not sure if I should pick a different cam.

Would it be better to throw in the hotcam with the street porting on the heads, or not spend the money heads and go with a cc306 and get a good valve job? I would have an extra set of heads eitherway I go for future use. Which would most likely make more power?

are you serious about the 847?

An other question. The car has 75k on it. Should I change the opti with the cam swap. Or wait till it goes? Its 97 Formy dunno if the vented opti's last longer?

97' formulas already have vented optis, but if you have the cash, it cant hurt.

Ok so what do you guys think. cc306 or GM847, no porting just a valve job?

What springs and seats should I go with? Any part #'s? Because I doubt the hot cam springs will work.

From what I hear, people with the hotcam wish they went higher after awhile. When I had my 95, I wish I did after a few months. I wanted a loopier idle......

For a big cam, you should replace everything in your valvetrain. Lifters too if they're looking worn

Can any of you cc306 guys help me out here? Or should I call comp cams and see what they recommend for springs and valve seats?
