Question what should i expect?

ive just built a lt1 bored .30 flattop pistons new stock replacement rods and crank. it has the cc305 cam, long tube headers, true daul lm1s, 58mm tb, long story short full bolt ons.
stock heads only have been port matched to gasket.

its a t-56, 3.73 gears.

what kind of power should i expect from this build with a good tune? ive also been thinking about a 150 shot how much would that help? thanks guys

Re: what should a expect?

Sorry, you aren't going to be anywhere near 400 rwhp with that cam and stock heads. Probably in the 330rwhp range....

Re: what should a expect?

What I meant was maybe close to 400whp with a good set of heads and intake like you mentioned above.

Re: what should a expect?

cc503 with an M6 and a decent set of heads you should see in the 370-380 range with a spot on tune.

Re: what should a expect?

CC503 and send your heads to this man http://elliottsportworks.com/home/?page_id=51; le1 with stainless valves should put you at 400whp. With stock heads I don't see you putting down 400whp you will have to run a cam like the cc306 and I don't know if that will put you at 400whp with stock heads. Power is made in the heads so if you want power you are going to need to spend some money on the heads; lloyd will say port matching and gasket matching will not help much and it can even hurt hp, something about port matching increasing turbulence at the push rod pinch causing hp loss.
