What sensors can cause hesitation??

What sensors can cause hesitation??
Just wondering what sensor on our cars can cause hesitation that causes the car to drive real bad once its warm..
It drives somewhat normal then randomly when it gets hot it will just start acting up and sometimes wanted to die and then sputter when you accelarate like its missing then sometimes when you give it enough gas it'll kick back in and drive somewhat decent again.
The car has been running like **** and im going to replaces the opti and plugs and hopefully that'll fix it like someone suggested but what other sensors should i look at if this doesnt fix it. Just so i can go ahead and already jump on something else if this doesnt work.

Coil and ignition moduel, also have you checked you fuel presure?
A bad mass air filter could do that to...matter of fact their probley is a ton of **** that could cause that.
Do you have a check engine light on?

ah yea i've unpluged the MAS and it still ran the same way. also i did check the fuel pressure and theres another pump in there now so thats not the problem.
But there is no check engine light that stays on. Now there is one that just comes on randomly and goes away randomly but i have to find a way to scan my 95 computer
