What Sensor Is This? (Picture)

Broke it when pulling the engine out some how.

Is it the fuel pump engine oil pressure sensor. So if it looses pressure it turns off the fuel pump?.. I think thats what it is, just want to be posative.

Yea. I looked close on AllData and they use the same sensor even tho its listed seperatly in alldata, one said Oil Pressure Sender, the other said Oil Pressire Sender (for Fuel Pump Shut Off)

Shyt, that was a $30 mistake.. I can get a replacement form gmpartsdirect for $33.24.. know of any cheaper ones?

sounds like you bought the first design (93 and early 94)

you need this:

10201491 - F/PUMP SW & ENGINE OIL PRESSURE GA SENSOR

I didn't completely read your orig post. If you can get it for 33.xx, thats pretty cheap. Those guys have some pretty high shipping tho. Might call Jason Cromer. You can find his # on shbox.com.

I snapped mine a few days ago putting headers in, we've got them at work (Autozone) for $20 each. However, there are two different sizes, 1/4" thread, and 1/8" thread (I think those were the sizes) any ideas shoebox? I'm needing one as well.

1994s could have it above the oil filter or behind the intake manifold. The one above the oil filter uses the 1/4" thread.

i got one from AZ today and it was a hunk of crap.. the one i was replacing due to random low oil pressure during warm outside temps at idle turned into a check gauge light EVERY time i was stopped at idle or going <10mph...

i ended up putting the other one back in since it only shows the CG light once every few days... i hope autozone will allow me to return their crappy part
