What RPM to shift at?

stock LT1...1997 Z28 M6...at what RPM should i shift at?

no motor mods...just a K&N FIPK2 and Magnaflow muffler

Most guys I know shift around 5600 - I believe our tachs read a little low.... This is just what I've HEARD, possibly search this...

Stock Heads, Stock Crank, Stock Cam...sounds like a recipe for stock redline. If you look at the PID data on your scan tool, both my Z28's stock tach read 100 (+/- a couple) rpms higher than it really was.
