what replacement rockers? think cheap
Well I'm gunna try replacing my rockers on my wife's 95 Z28. It's a rebuilt engine. No matter how many times I try to adjust the rockers I still get some chatter mostly on the drivers side. Oil pressure is 35psi at idle so pressure should not be an issue. They seem ok at idle but when ya rev it a bit they start making noise. I checked all the pushrods and they are fine. I even replaced the lifters with new Lunati lifters and it's the exact same. The engine had like 200k on it before it was rebuilt so I'm thinking the rockers could be worn. What would be a good rocker to buy for a lady drivin LT1? Never hotrodded just drove to work easy. Want something that will work for a stock setup that won't be drivin by me..
I'd recommend the comp cams magnum rocker arm kit at summitracing. Part # RP1417-16. The cost is $211.95, but the bright side of it all is it includes new push rods and they keep the stock rocker arm ratio of 1.5.
