Ok so I blew 2 headgaskets at one time and my car has been in the shop. Well I picked up my heads today from the shop and took them to the porter here in Austin. My question is, what should i "freshen up" in the engine area while the heads are off. I have stock lifters on it now so I am going to do that for sure. But what kind? Are Comp R's good and reliable? Any other brands to be considered? The heads are getting comp stainless valves and stuff.... Should the pushrods still be ok? Any imput appreciated.
