What pre-load with comp R's

My valvetrain is making noise again, so I'm going to re-adjust the preload on the lifters again. What should I set the lash at, 1/16th, 1/8 turn, 1/4 turn? And should I do it with the motor warm, cold, running, not running? I know the comp R's are sensitive as hell, thats why I'm asking, I can never seem to get it right, there's always 1 noisy rocker arm.

1/16th. The noisy rocker may be a bad lifter.

I "pre loaded" two set off on E-bay to make sure my new engine stayed in tact

I bought a set of Morels from Bret with the money and now my valve train is quiet again
