What Plugs, NOT BOSCH??

I am going to try to replace my plugs AGAIN...I think the bosches that i put in recently are causing part of my low end stumble. What are some good plust to try besides, and where is the cheapest to get them?

I would also highly recommend NGK TR-55s.
Seems like LT1s don't like Bosch plugs at all... People post about bad experiences with them all the time.

stock AC Delco plugs seem to work just fine on naturally aspirated cars. no need for the fancy stuff on them. with the mods in your sig, these should be just fine.call the chevrolet house to find the correct factory plug before you go to a parts store. the parts stores don't always get their info right in their computers.

I understand lots of cars don't do well with the Boschs. I would recommend going with the NGKTr55VX plats @ $6 ea.

The cheaper copper TR55s may be better conductors but won't last as long.JMHO

I used +4's also, never had an issue...car feels as strong as it does today..I just don't like paying 5$ a piece for freaking spark plug..

explain to me if you can why the bosch products gives many people on here problems, is there a flaw in the spark plug design, like i said maybe im one of the lucky ones but never had a problem with mine, going on 2 years with mine in

Don't know that. But when I see that many have experienced problems with something, I stay away rather than take a chance.

Those who don't want to put out the extra $25.00 for a set of plats amaze me.

I'd rather pay the 25 than have to change out the plugs 3-4 times with non-plats.JMHO

Hey Chas: Maybe you haven't had any "problems" with the Bosch, but have you considered that you might get some improvement without them?

I must be one of the 'lucky' ones
I use regular Bosch Plats[and yes, they are plat!] all the time, in everything I can get them for.. put em on a spark comparator [or a car that has points you can 'pop' to observe the spark] and you'l see why..
Precise spark in the same place every time[no dancing]
I pay about 1.50 @ for em..
No probs here..
