What need to be done to install intake LT4 intake manifold?

I just want to know what and where it takes to clearance the LT4 intake manifold to fit on LT1 heads. I don't want math numbers or reasons by god why it will not fit. I want to know from someone that has done it (preferably), where the runners have to be changed, ect.

Thanks
Not trying to sound like a ****, but I did a search on it and everyone basically kept bashing that intake. I got a real GOOD deal on one and I want it one my car.

Mine's not done yet but the guy doing my heads said he was going to notch the heads where the intake hits the lip. I will let you know how it comes out.

The LT4 intake has additional material cast above the intake ports, at the flange. This ALLOWS the ports to be raised if desired, without breaking through. I say allow, cuz they (the ports) are not raised in the casting, just the ability to do so is.

Either the extra (as cast) material needs to be removed or the intake mounting surface, on the head, must be machined to provide the clearance, to allow bolting on the intake. IOW, the 'shelf' on the mounting surface of the head, must be raised 1/4" to accomodate the LT4 intake, or machine 1/4" off the intake, at the flange.
