You are probably referring to the LS1 air intake assembly, right?

I think I've seen it somewhere (or maybe not...), but it must be quite a job, though, since it is much higher.

If you're talking intake manifold, it's not even possible.

Re: What is need to do a LS1 intake on a LT1

If you mean manifold, it is impossible for several reasons:

The bolt pattern is different

The ports DO NOT line up ( An LS1 has evenly spaced ports, kinda like a BBC, not two and two together on each bank like an LT1 (Or other SBC)

I believe the manifold-to-head angle is different on an LS1 than LT1

If you mean converting to a lid set up, Im not really sure? I would think you would need a different hood for fitment issues, intake tube to neck down from throttle body to MAF, and if I am correct, you would need to modify, or convert to an LS1 style front bumper. It's costly, and is marginally, if any, better than a SS style intake, or CAI

Do a search I saw a picture yesterday of an LT1 with the LS1 airbox and intake tube. I don't know if it was this site or fuelslut.com

ahha Sorry guys. I was talking about the air intake assembly. I know there is NO WAY to put the intake maf on a lt1.

I was just thinking if I were to use the Ls1 styly air intake assembly on the LT1 I could the use the area
for the NOZZZZZZZZZZ hookups.
