What is my exhaust?
What is my exhaust?
Ok I changed the oil in my car and got a better view of the exhaust up front. I know there is stock manifolds, stock y pipe and stock cat. The y pipe has compression bends (ribbed) but the cat back has mandural bent 3" tubing into a muffler and duel 2.5" pipes into stock tips. There is no markings on the muffler. I would like to know if anyone can confirm without a doubt this exhaust is bone stock.
here is a vid of the exhaust. Sorry about the volume.

Re: What is my exhaust?
sounds way raspier than my 95 did with the stock setup, if it seems a little louder than normal (i cant tell) i might think the cat has been gutted and had a pipe put through it. You can usually tell that right away by the smell of the exhaust though. I also thought the stock setup was 2.5" instead of 3" but i could be wrong.
Re: What is my exhaust?
I dunno
The cat is there. I passed E check when they put it on the dyno thingie so I don't think its gutted.
I'd almost bet money its a 3" pipe going to the muffler and I know for a fact its mandural bent also. The pipes come out of each side of the muffler which is mounted sideways. They arn't welded on either.

Re: What is my exhaust?
That exhaust is not stock. The cat has definitely been gutted judging by the amount of rasp when you let off the throttle. A stock system will not do that and is much quieter.
