So i'm goin to start saving up money for more mods. thinking heads cam pcm programmed maybe new tranny with stall rear end, some appearance mods. But what all would you do to your car maybe rebuild it?? not sure on what type of head and cam package? It can be kinda extreme since it won't be my daily driver anymore I'm just wanting around 450+ horses so any ideas start throwing them out. My mods are in my sig

450 NA? With a supercharger it's very possible...however on a 350 CI NA engine I don't think it's possibly. Certainly not with a streetable cam....

A lot of different combos. But definately get yourself a torque converter. I would go with a CC306 or so with some 1.6 rockers. The key to getting a motor to produce power though is in the heads. I would get a nice set or definately get it ported and polished.

I'd check out Ebay for a new engine.. There were some vendors who recently selling slightly beefed up LT1's without heads and cam for 800-1200 dollars. 1200 was the buy it now price while no reserve was at 800. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2437090836
Some got this one at 799 dollars. I think these guys build them up regularly too...
Check em out... Get a cc306 in there with some ported heads and long tubes.. With your other mods u should be good for 380-400 to the ground or 450-480 at the fly.
Engine- 800-1200
Lloyds heads or Phils- 1000-1400
Other littler parts- 600-1000
Cam- 220
Long tubes and Y pipe- 700

yeah 450 at the fly is about the average for someone with a cc306 and ported heads... course some might say the cc306 isnt that street friendly while others say bull****..
I know the cc305 is streetable... I think the cc306 would be a little much for me but I dont know.. never rode in one.. Just judging by the cc305 i have. Im shooting for 440hp with my moderate setup.

maybe 95TA8280 is thinking 450 hp to the ground... well thats really hard with a NA 350... I dont think its possible with a streetable cam... only a solid roller..

If my car was not my daily driver I would lower it and put on 17x11s on the rear.

If you want anything close to 450na rwhp your going to have to spend a lot of money. More cubes(383,396) are a must, the 396 is the smallest I would go. The short block would cost you alone 4.5-6k depending how cheap or parts and who does the labor. The heads would have to be stage three of what ever brand you buy. Afr is a known trusted brand. The 210 or 220cc race heads are around 3k. Those are what I would buy if I was trying to make that na hp. The list of stuff you need goes on and on. If you build that big or a motor it will handle the juice very good. I would spray it, you can go so much faster and it will be so much fun. Your mark of 450rwhp with an a4 is going to be hard. Good luck

It is NOT a must. There are a lot of 350's and 355's out there putting out 450rwh. It would just be easier to do it with the 383 or 396.
