What mods next?
What mods after heads/cam headers
OK so I have the mods in my sig. What will help me out the most next. I think I should get bigger fuel injectors for one thing. But do I need a bigger Throttle Body. What about ignition boxes like the msd 6AL does that really help much. I currently will run a low 12 at least with current mods because I went to the track and was running 12.5 with 2.4 60' so with a drag radial I shoud do much better. I already have gears that I havent installed yet. So im just wondering which will I feel the most from or should I absolutely do. The injectors are stock as well as TB. Thanks in advance

whoa
you ran a 12.5 with a 2.4 60'? I think that is a typo chief. I'd definitely say go with 4:10 gears next. If it's too much gear for you just bump up your tire size to say a 27" x 15" ET Drag. Drag tires and especially gears are your next best mod in IMO. After that I'd go with some decent heads like AFR 190cc or start looking at the engine lower-end buildup, pistons, rods, etc. You could always just stroke it for 8k with a buncha forged everything

well heres what happened the first time I ran I got a 2.2 60' and pulled a 12.7 but when I shifted to 2nd I completely spun for a long time til I let off. Thenthe next time I spun off the line but cracked second and stuck and then top of the third my clutch started slipping. My oem clutch is now toast but I am going to invest in a street twin. All of this is honest. They were just weird runs and they were on a 45 degree night on bald 450 nittos
