Im trying to get a ball park figure on what machining is necassary for a 383 stroker. Were going to be starting my build up here in the next few months and we are going to be doing all the assembly in my shop. I know i have to get the block clearenced for the crank but what else should I get done that is needed,

Hot tank, magnaflux, bore/hone .030 with torque plate, align hone the mains, deck the block, replace all bearings, clearance for stroker, and balanace.

Thats all that i can think of right now. Expect to pay 1000-1500 bucks in machining alone IMO.
