What lifters???

Ive gotta pull the heads off and figure ill do some replacing of stuff down there while im at it. I just need some stock replacement lifters. Not looking to break the bank on comp r's or anything. Just replacements for a bolt-on car.

search on gmpartsdirect.com they have them. They are like 22 bucks for eight of them. Thats where im gonna get mine from.

I got comp OEM replacements from thunder racing. Seem to work fine.

That doesnt sound right, are you sure they are roller lifters?

I got Speed Pro OEM style hudraulic roller lifters for $3/each from my local auto parts store.

Ford, Stu (Disco) has a set of lifters that he'd probably get rid of pretty cheap... PM him on AFB.

That's the price each. So a pack of 8 will cost you $180+.

NOPE it says "pack QTY: 8" That means there are eight in each pack. they do it that way because those lifters work in 4 cylinders with in block cams too.

I was just surprised to see them that cheap when I bought lifters about a year ago I couldnt find any under $185.

Do a checkout and you will see they will charge you $180+ for that set of 8.

Oh, and for ford (assuming you have a fbody), this is what I used. Cost me less than $200 for a set of 16 lifters from Summit Racing.

Comp R's are only about $225 and the options everyone else is giving is $180+ so why not just get the Comp R's.

hehehe thanks but ford is just my middle name, i drive an fbody

Thanks for the replies guys, I think i may try and buy some off a guy local. If not since the prices are so high for stock replacements i guess Comp R's arent a bad investment. I just had no idea stock lifters were that damn much
