Well, I would say it could be from 370-400+ RWHP. Roadtrip or Kryckter just posted the other day about a setup with LT1 castings that was fairly similar, with the 306..and it made 400RWHP. I think it will depend more on what Stage the LT4 heads will be ported to.

do you think its worth keeping the stock heads and get them ported heavily, or go with some decently ported LT4 heads

The 'rule of thumb' I've seen here is stockers are good for 350/355 LT1s. AFR/TF heads are better suited to strokers.

If you do a search (I'm not being a smart ***, there's a ton of info), you should come up with your answer.

How much ya wanna spend? The Stockers ported can support a pretty hefty amount of power with stock displacement. However if I had the funds, I would get some worked over LT4's. Remember the better the headflows the smaller the cam necessary to make power. Also, i would probably get a custom cam rather than a CC306. Basically the only difference in the combinations that Roadtrip and Kryckter posted looked to be the cams, Kryckters had the LE2 cam, and the other had the 306....417RWHP, and 400RWHP.
