What kind of lube for pilot bushing?

What kind of lube for pilot bushing?
I have heard that you need some hi-temp lube for the pilot bushing, but I'm not sure what kind. Can anyone help out with this? Also, I think you are supposed to put a little on the OD and a lot on the ID. Is this correct?
