WHat keeps killing my battery???
I've changed my Battery a month ago. I changed tha Alternator two weeks before that. All because my battery kept dying after sitting fo r afew days.
I parked my car last week for the season, but had to move it yesterday and it was completely DEAD. After all of the new stuff it still dies in a matter of days.
Now what can cause this? There are some strange things been going on with the car lately, such as, clock will not go off on factory stereo when igintion is off, seatbelt light stays on constant, when ignition is on (never shuts off), starter will click only for the first few attempts at turning the key then will start normal.
Do I have a short somehwere?

Sounds like it. I mean if your radio clock is staying on all night and various lights are staying on also even after those 30seconds after you lock your car then something is wrong. So you mean when you turn your key off, lock doors and leave the interior lights stay on, as well as the radio clock?

You could try pulling one fuse out at a time and testing if there is current running from the battery each time. When you get to the fuse for the circuit that is drawing power, you'll at least know what to look for.
corroded battery cables...
While your driving they wont allow your battery to fully charge up.. so if u let it set a couple days with a radar detector in or maybe even a week with the clock on it'll kill the battery..
I tested mine and they were fine.. but then i cleaned them up and my voltage gauge went up a lot and my car doesnt die any more after a few days of sitting

The display on my mom's car radio was staying on and draining her battery, too. I don't have a manual for her car, so I could not really troubleshoot it, but I did remove the fuse for the radio and it has not drained since.
I'm not sure if RAP was an option in 93 or not...but try shutting off the ignition, remove the key, open the drivers door and then close it...see if the power windows or stereo will still work without the key in, that'll tell you if the RAP module is powering some stuff all the time (should disengage when you open the door).
Have you got an aftermarket alarm? My Clifford Alarm with all the bells/whistles will kill the battery within 10 days or so...

no one here is going to tell you exactly whats wrong w/o checkeing the electrical system.
get a wiring schematic for your car.
get a voltmeter or a multimeter.
and check the circuits related to the clock etc.

All batteries will die if not used. You can't recharge a battery by just starting it up once in awhile. You can't fully recharge a dead battery by driving it around.
Having stated the obvious, I recommend visiting your local Autozone or electrical specialist and getting your system checked out for drainage (which I suspect you have).
I had simular problem. Turned out to be an after-market anti-theft device gone south.

Open the hood of the car and look on the passenger's side for a small post that the battery connects to. A bunch of wires will be running to this post, instead of connecting directly to the battery (because of the terminals being side mounted) Try tightening the nut a bunch, I had problems with the battery dying and this fixed it.
