when i had this car at the mechanic's one time he told me that these injectors weren't stock. if they aren't, any idea as to what they are?

 

they look stock to me i had the same ones
i beleve they are 24lb/hr

Yep, those look like stockers. Maybe the painted intake manifold led them to think otherwise, I don't know.

 

well somebody had done some TIG welding on the manifold behind the injectors

 

Not sure what they would have welded, unless maybe the EGR system had been removed and they welded some plates over the old EGR ports.

 

**clarifying** behind each of the individual injectors there is a patch/spot about 1.5" square that has been TIG welded.

it seems strange to me. it makes the paint look like it's peeling up but it's not

 

Oh okay. Was there any portwork done to the intake manifold?

 

no, there wasn't. the heads have a port job that looks professional but the intake had no porting at all.

could it have been some kind of n2o setup that someone took off?

it's hard to say what I have since i bought all that stuff already on the car. next time i have the intake off i'll make sure to get pics of the port job on the heads. maybe they're LE's or something
