What the heck is an Opti?

Ok is the "opti" the Distributor? Whats the
actual name of this part?


I went to my chevy dealer to pick one up and i asked for a opti and they were like "whats an opti?"

seriously? 1000 posts and you don't know what an opti is? It is the distributor for the modern LT1. Full name is optispark. They should know what it is....

No, i know what the opti IS
but i wanted to know the full techincal name was. So is it optispark or optispark distributor

it sure didn't sound that way by what you wrote as your question. Reread that and tell me what it looks like you were asking...

anyway, you have the part number now, so they shouldn't have any problem finding it....

Save yourself some coin and buy from the people below (unless you can get it for wholesale price locally).
