what headers should I go with... 383...
This is a 383 and I was wondering disadvantages to advantages of long tubes vs shorties, what would be good to put in, as I dont want to take them out once in. Right now the motor has stock manifolds and it is a 383.

To the best of my knowledge yes. I can tell you this, i went with my AS&M mid's because i didnt like the gains from shorties but couldnt really pass emmissions(and didnt have the money) for LT's. I could've gained another 5RWHP or more from LT's and sometimes i wished i would have. But comparing SHORTIES and LT's you are talking about an atleast 10 RWHP difference and maybe more on a 383. Definately go with LT's especially if you are planning to do heads down the line which i think you will need to do with a 383. Just my .02

No drawback to LT's. Go with either hookers or FLP's. Botha are good. I think one thing that you might have to do is make your own holes for the 02's but thats not that big o deal. Trust us, go with LT's they make the most power............................period.
