That is why you order the Victor Rienz, same gasket but loose individual packaged.

Doesn't much help to search with the vast quantities of bad info you will find. I actually think it is more important to first spend enough time here to know who is handing out good info and who is not.

The Mr. Gaskets were purchased in November. After reviewing the quality, I feel the Impala gaskets were better even with Mr. Gasket packaging issues. The thickness difference is .003".

Not fully true. Leave to much open in the quench and you give fuel a place to puddle and detonate.

Where can I get the impalla gaskets? GM or napa or autozone carry them? Are the felpro impalla gaskets different from the camaro and firebird gaskets?

Heads have already been milled, my rings didn't seat right from a list of problems I was having during my break in period. I have felpro stock replacements right now, but was just looking for something of a little better quality

Sorry for my lack of info but thanks for the help guys

Far as gaskets for a naturally aspirated motor I would pick gaskets based on compression, the Felpros are .039 a good choice for a zero deck but leave a fair bit compression on the table. Mr. Gasket and Victor Rienz both offer a .026 gasket and with normal cams on a stock shortblock this is just fine piston to valve clearance and all. Worth almost .4 of a point compression.
how are the 374 Aluminums a step backwards from the iron heads? I understand if I was boosted already then yes, I would be messing myself up as the compression is already lower, but for the summer Im staying N/A and throwing in a gm847 for some fun before I throw on my kit...But that motor will be completely different, and I would have some Darts anyways..Im just looking for a lil more compression for the N/A
