Trying to decide which pistons to buy. I am going to spray a 200 shot direct port, so I want forged. Just don't know what ones to get. I'm sending my heads to TEA to flow and CC. Shooting for 400 N/A rwhp. I've got a CC 306 cam, but might go with a different one.

Forged and without spending too much... I'd go with any of these..... Manley, Diamond, SRP, Sealed Power.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to those manufacturers, but I guess my question is more oriented toward flattop, dish, dome etc. I called JE, but they weren't real helpful. Actually, I told the guy I had a late model LT1 and he said, "those have dished pistons, don't they?" That kind of turned me off of him. I think I might just order them from nu-tek. They have competitive prices, and they ought to be able to help me pick a set.
Thanks,
Todd

Nick will most likely recommend the Diamond.

It's a good choice though.

Good luck.
