What is the fastest cam swap time???

What is the fastest that anyone has had the old one out, new one in and everything back together???

It can be done in a day if you're good, it's nice to have a weekend set aside for it.

My buddy and I did mine in 12 hours....going to do another one in a month so we'll see if it goes a little faster.

Some buddies and I can do one in about 8 hours.

Well I'm an *** then. I worked on it for 7 1/2 hours and the cam still isn't out!!!!

Its not something that should be rushed through, thats for sure! Too many things to look over. The first one I did, I did it over the course of 2 months, working off and on. The second one I did in less than 2 weeks time, mainly working on the weekends..

i bet my brother-in-law and I could swap the cam in my car in about 6-8 hours if we had everything and all went well. we've gotten pretty good at taking the thing apart. Joe??

I guess it depends what things you have to do? Springs will take up alot of time plus you want to take time to slug back beers.

Other things like scrapping the old gaskets off also takes up time but the point is not to rush it and enjoy it as you slam back beers and walk into the house with drity hands and run them all over the white counter tops, lol
