So far i have heard me friends Flowmaster 80 series exhaust on his 91 camaro L98.. and it sounds pretty mean but im still not sure.. ..

I have heard good things about magnaflow and hookers.. but havn't heard any sound clips of them.. I want me car to sound mean with a deep growling kinda sound... but not to be one constant sound and im going to buy a cut out... Also im kinda stupid so how can i make my car lope?

I also love theses Tips.. (exhaust tips)

if your going to buy a cutout, just buy the tips you want and leave the stock muffler. to make the car lope your gonna need a bumpstick.

Yes you can just adjust the sound level with borla but since your more than likely going to want to run it open anyhow...I would suggest just getting a cutout and its going to sound pretty much the same, and be much cheaper. If you got the $$ to throw around, borla is nice, other wise I would save my cash and get a cutout and something else.

So if im going to run with the cut out open all the time there is no point in getting exhaust like flows ect.. chances are that i will keep it closed after i get tired of hearing it and just leave it at the sound of the exhaust im getting..?

I think you can get the performance and sound you want with a cutout. You can make plates to install on the cutout dump in order to adjust for the desired amount of sound. You can add nice tips to the stock exhaust to get the desired look. You can open the cutout all the way or partially via the aforementioned plates, to get the desired performance gain. Best of all you should be able to do it all very inexpensively.

If you like the dronmaster, then you'll like any catback...every catback sounds good on a LT1, just some are louder...check out the hooker catback...cheap and good quality

Thanks for all the info

SO if i get exhaust lets say Flows American Thunder and i get a cut out would that just be a waste of money.. on the exhuast system?

If i do get an exhaust cut out on any exhaust system i get its going to all sound the same unless i close up the exhaust cut out and let it run through the exhaust system right..?

A clip of my Magnaflow is in my Sig below

Also, this clip is not mine, but will give you a good idea of the depth of the exhaust without the high revs like in my clip.
