What else do I need for a Z28 - SS Conversioin?

True SS's are way too expensive, some are going for over 15,000. I can get the same 1997 Z-28 for under 8,000. Anyway, I still like the looks of the SS, but want to make a complete conversion. Here's what I have so far, what else do I need for 30th anniv. SS?

Most stuff is on slponline.com

SS Spoiler - $400
SS Hood/Functional ram air- $800
White ZR1 Wheels/tires - $1300
White SS 30th anniv. Seats - $?
Side Orange SS Decal - $10
Huggar Orange Stripes - $150
SS grille - $10
SS Floor Mats - $80
Dash Plaque, 30th Anniversary Camaro SS - $20
Owner's Supplement Manual - $15
SS Portfolio - $50
Short Throw Shifter - $100
Key Ring - $20
Center Orange Cap SS Logo (Wheel) - $35

Total: ~$3000 + seats

I hope you're doing it for your own amusement and not going to try to pass it off as an SS. The numbers won't match up...

There were only so many 30th anniv. SS's made...

SS conversion

Well by the time you add the $3000 + in modifications to the $8000 buy in price of the 97 Z28 you can buy a real SS if you're patient and do some searching. I just brought a 97 SS two weeks ago for $8500, so there are deals out there to be had.
I logged on to www.autotrader.com and did a nationwide search for 96-97 Camaros in the price range of $0 - $10000 and found the SS and brought it. I have seen plenty of them for anywhere from $11,000 - $40,000 for the rare SS LT4. So I would conclude by saying if you really want an SS buy one.
