I'm considering GM synchromesh, Royal purple Synchromax, Redline MTL, or just synthetic dexron III. Any advice as to the best would be welcome.

Any of the lubes you have listed are good stuff. I have tried B&M Trickshift, works ok but it appears to break down quicker than others I've used, and makes the shifter feel a little notchy. Lately I have Mobil 1 in it. But I have some Redline in the garage for the next change.

I use Red Line synthitic D4 ATF. That is what LG Motorsports puts in all of their transmissions. I bought it from them.

Redline MTL... I have been running this stuff for a long time. No problems at all with the tranny, even under abusive conditions. It is better than using ATF.

I'm using Mobil 1 synthetic and a half a quart of Lucus oil stabilizer.
