It means taking the metal screen out to increase airflow. When i took mine out i notices little particles of something in there that the screen had caught but like an idiot took it out anyways only to read somewhere later that its not the safest thing! Mine is an SLP and even they dont recommend it!

When I took mine out I took a dremel to it and took almost an inch out of the inside diameter...the hell with Granateli, I wouldn't pay 150+ for something I can do for free right?
