Regular dextron, the stuff the label on the tranny says, had honda fluid before that, no difference....

I put in regular Dexron III. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I just changed mine yesterday and noticed a nice difference between the original fluid that was 60,000 miles old, and the new Dexron III that I put in there. There is no need for synthetic.

i replaced my original fluid with Honda ATF a while ago but now i just run Mobil 1 syn. and it feels exactly the same, plus you dont have to walk into a Honda dealership to get it.

Royal Purple Dextron III here. GM doesn't even recomend chaning the fluid untill like 100k or some ****. From what i've heard RP and Redline are the best fluids out there. Why not spend a few extra bucks when you aren't going to do it that offten anyway?

IIRC Napa stocks it and it's about 6 bucks a quart.

To tell you the truth jut put in some Good ATF DEXRON 3 anything fluid. I mean it will fill the same either way... fluid is fluid. Tranny fluid is different from the motor oil...if you swap motor oils you can tell the difference. You switch the tranny stuff out feels just the same...unless you have really bad tranny fluid in your car and have had it in there twice it's life cycle (recommended change every 30K miles).
