what do you think I will run with ET streets??
Heat them up, and drop the clutch off the rev limiter. Thats ***** to the wall, also the best way to explode the 7.5 rear you are working with. I was doing those launches with heated drag radials and it held. My rear end also whined a little after that track day, lol.
How big are those slicks? I tried putting 26 inch slicks on my car and they were mounted on 3rd gen z28 rims (rear). They definitely didnt look bad, but they rubbed. I'd watch out for that. But your et will depend on how hard you want to launch. The better the 60 ft, the better the et. 13.5 @103 id say with a good (1.8-9) 60 ft. Good luck.

I know the slicks look good, they did on my car too. But I noticed some rubbage when I was driving it, because the rim actually stuck out farther than the quarter panel. I was also running 11.50's though. Could just be me. Good luck and dont break anything.

First of all, what does your car run now? is it strong and tuned up?
I'm gonna assume that you can shift, decent air up there in oh canada and that you let your car cool off a lil first so I say your going to run a
13.2 at 104
In other words your car should be easily capable of that.
Your 60' may not get much better than 1.9 flat depending on track prep and because of the stock clutch's ability to hook from a high rpm drop.
In 90° weather I pulled 13.2 at 106 with near same mods and a 1.95 60'. I do have 3.73s, tuning, and 1.3/4" primarys which all help a lil.
Let us know how it turns out though

If you have the money saved up for a rear end ,possibly more if you dont do the work yourself ... Then beat the living **** out of the stock rear till it dies ... Or take it out and sell it now for a few bucks on Ebay and get a good one before you loose the opportunity of having a funtional rear to sell ...
If you dont have the money for it , launch easy, then give it your all after the launch ... No sense in burning up a rear end for a tenth or two
