what do you guys think of this
The topic has been discussed alot and if you do a search youll find some of them. The study from one of the comparisons I belive the ram air came out on top by a small gain. It only showed up at high speed though. You cant go wrong either way. You will see better throttle response and an increase in horsepower and torque with both. The CAI will cost less than the ram air. So just research and you can decide.
well my question is more towards the hoods, should i get a ram air hood incase i did want a ram air induction, or would it be fine to get a ram air hood w/o the airbox, but with CAI
maybe i should have clarified that

i might purchase the ram air box first, then save up enough to get the hood, which is over like 700 bucks, then install the ram air box...
can anyone link me to a GOOD site that has the air box??

im thinking about getting the ws6 hood from this place

I have heard that the ram air box pulls in hotter air because of the heat off of the radiator. That's why I went with a CAI instead. I don't really know if it's true or not, but it made sence to me so I went that rout. I just wanted the coldest air possible.
I agree with going with the CAI, and getting the ram air hood for looks.
don't think you could go wrong either way though. It's all how soon you want it done. Buy the high dollar airbox kit and hood, and wait a while to afford it, or buy the CAI and be done with it in a matter of hours.
