What do you CC306 guys get for GAS MILAGE?

I am trying to figure out if I need to track down some issue or if this is normal. Its a stock headed, bolt on 306 cam'ed, 6spd, 3 inch duals, 3.73's, and a PCMforless tune. I can get 200miles on a tank max.

What are you guys getting?

unless you have some fuel dumping issues, i don't see how it is possible to get that kind of gas mileage. I know a guy who had a 69 chevelle with an ls6 454 and that thing got 5-7 mpg with 4.10's and a 4 spd. not to mention those are about as effecient as a weed wacker. something hasd got to be up with your car

Thats mixed driving, I have gotten as little as 160 and as much as 230. The car has a HUGE gap between highway and city milage. If I ever drove a full tank on the highway I think I could go 250 maybe.

Looks like I am not too far off then which kind of bums me out

Stock heads, stock injectors, 4.10s, pcm for less tune I was still getting 25+ highway. City was mid or upper teens.

Now I get @ 5 city, maybe 15 highway /cry

Its all about sacrifice. You give one thing up for another. 5 years ago you wouldnt have thought twice, but since gas for us is over the $3/gal mark it makes it hard to do an all motor setup with a beefy bumpstick. I have a GTP LT4 setup waiting on a CC306 and watching gas go higher and higher keeps giving me second thoughts.

Personally I love my Z28 and I want it to be a mean SOB. So I'm going to do the H/C and get a cavy or some 4 banger for going to work and then drive the Z whenever I feel the need.

Hell i wish i got that good of gas mileage lol.....with the z i get a good 20 highway if im lucky but much much less in the city.... I also have a 96 sable and it does have a slipping trans but i only got like 10 in the city lol. My "new" car is a 02 impala and i only filled up once and got around 20 mpg mixed driving not bad but it seems some of you guys are getting that in your camaros lol. I think some people may have issues with their math haha. I dont see anyway of getting 230 miles on a tank lol
