Ok heres my mod list: Moroso CAI, Hooker LT's, Flowmaster, Cutout, ILE elbow, TB Bypass, Ed Wright tuning, Airfoil, Off road y, 3.23 gears, LCA relocation brackets, and nitto drag radials. And its an a4.

So far i have yielded a 13.88 at 98 mph, with a 2.0 60 ft. This seems kinda low to me especially the mph. I run real strong through first and second but 3 gear sucks hard core i think this is whats hurting me somehow. I would think with these mods i would be at least at 13.6! But, who knows? What do u guys think. Nothing wrong or should i have something checked out? Oh yeah it was good weather too 60 degrees!

something sounds wrong........you should run that mph in a relatively stock car.


check all your plugs and wires.

run some seafoam through it.

 

With all those mods and a few $100 in suspension you should be at 13.0......

 

See thats the thing i didnt hardly gain any mph from all my mods. i ran a 96 mph bone stock after all that i ran 98!! WTF?? whats sea foam? So what do u guys think is wrong? i put new plugs and wires on when i did headers!

I've had problems in the past with Ed's tuning. Have you tried running it with the stock tuning???

Nuther thing - have you checked for false knock?

 

when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? could be hurting you up top and keeping your mph's low.......maybe.
that was hurting me and I never thought of it (until recently).
after changing it it feels alot better and I'll be taking it to the track too to see how I do.

I was running 13.80@99.5 with a 2.18 60' time (consistent 13.9's@99.x with 2.2ish 60's)
mods = K&N FIPK, Am. Thunder catback, gutted cat, SFC's, MSD 6AL, air foil (A4, 3.23's)
Hopefully both of us will improve.

I have changed the fuel filter recently! I dont know. How do i go about asking him to flashing it back to stock?

Its called 3.23's lol, i had the same problem.. my car would pulled strong 1st,2nd and when it hit 3rd gear i would look at my gauges to make sure everything was fine. the car would stop pulling and feel like you hit OD.
i installed 3.73s and problem solved. the car now feels like it pulls the hardest in 3rd.
