What to do next????
What to do next????
Well a few weeks ago i threw down 350 RWHP and 331 RWTQ running through full exhaust NO cut-out A/F ratio was 12.2 and stock injectors were @ 80% DC from 3900 rpm up and maxed @ 105% 6000rpm and was pulling 5-7 degrees of timing out with no knock counts across the board.Well i put some 36# injectors in and made some adjustment to the tune hopefully the timing is fixed.Should i spend some money on a larger throttlebody or gears???If so what size of throttle body and i really dont want to break my rearend.I know the gears are not going to make a positive difference in the RWHP aspect. But i would like to see 380-400 RWHP do you guys think this is possible???How much would a cut out help??I'd like to run mid to high 11's N/A race weight is 3540 with me in it
My mods are in my sig

Re: What to do next????
Electric cutouts are only $200 and you'll definitely see an increase in horsepower on the dyno... I'd guess 5-10rwhp or more at ur peak
Also, I've heard great things about gears, so I'd say that'd be ur best best for getting into the 11's. Go 4.10 for sure...
Breaking ur rear end is only a matter of time. Just dont go with anything stickier than the drag radials you already have on there and you should be alright... for a while...lol

We've seen on average 10-15rwhp with cutouts. Electric ones are $200 as said above..... Definately your next step i would recomend. Then get a throttle body. You should have some good HP to pull you so wait with the gears untill you have some more money or time the car can sit for a bit if the rear goes. Lower gear will put more torque down which in turn will make things easier to break....
