I bought a nice 93, z28 camaro, and of coarse i love it!!! It's got great power and an amazingly smooth 6 speed transmition. I have a list of things that i am planning on completing in the next year including;turbo charger, super charger, body kit, ground effects, new hood, paint job, light covers, new lights , tinted windows, sun/moon roof, suspention work???, leather interior, cold air intake if i can?, and i can't forget the 9-10speaker rockerfolsgate system. Yeah thats right it's gonna be hot as hell, the only problem is i am not an expert of any type of car, and i need to know what else i'll need to buy so my car will not explode when i hook all that s**t up. Come on, you gonna help me out? what other parts/work is needed?

 

Your going to run a supercharger and a turbo charger on the same car........oh i get it your going to use the turbo charger to run the supercharger.........lol. Ah i'm just messing with ya. In all honesty you have to pick a direction and go that way. I am sure you do not have enuogh money to do everything you just mentioned. So you start off by either going with making a killer sound system or you make it go really fast. You also have to decide what your goals are? Make a show car? Make a drag car? or make street/drag car, or the final option that i am taking is making a really really fast street car lol. Just read a lot on here and listen to everybody on here........they all know somehting (might not always be right, but it gives you insight). A lot of the top dogs on here can really help you out. Like injuneer, mindgame, rich, and many more i can't think of at the moment. I'd also like to take the time now to thank everyone that has replied to my posts and always been helpful throughout the years. You guys are great.

 

buy a Cold Air Induction...........the SLP one is a great peice........you will gain a few ponies. That's always a good place to start.

 

I don't know why you say "suspension" with ??? after it. That's shouldn't even be a question. With all that power you want from supercharger...you definitely need to invest in suspension. It's waste to have added hp and torque but not be able to apply it to the pavement.

Like White Knight said..it does depend on what you want..."All Go" or "All Show" or somewhere in between.

Either way...looks like you gonna have a lot of fun with you're 93. Keep everyone updated on how things go.

 

9 speaker? never heard of an odd amount in a car unless you are counting a subwoofer to...and I think you mean "Rockford Fosgate"


EDIT : Put T-tops on instead of a moonroof, the car is already set up for them you just need to cut the roof.

 

These guys are right, you are going in way too many directions at one time. You should really slow down and figure out what you want your car to be. How many of these items that you listed did you price? Making our cars look good or go fast or anything in the middle is like buying a car all over again. I can tell you right now, i was looking into turbocharging my car with the STS turbo kit and that alone is 3500 bucks plus install. So if you got the money go for it, but i suggest you narrow it down.

So let me get this straight.

You want to install a supercharger and a turbocharger and a cold air.

Have you considered installing a built 6spd and a 700r4?

After that you might want to look into installing a built 10 bolt and a 12 bolt, and a 9 inch and a 9 bolt, and a dana 60. They'll all fit you just have to fab it up a bit.

I've heard mounting a 12 bolt in line with a 9 inch rear or 10 bolt helps alot, but you need an adapter kit. Do a search.

 

Best thing on the market right now, is the new turbo-charged supercharger. that thing really gets up and goes.

If you have ALOT of money, you should be able to do all that stuff. If your on a budget, forget it...or your going to have to take the next few years spending all your money on the car.

go to www.howstuffworks.com and learn about basic car stuff first, and then you can ask better questions and understand what everyone is talking about for the most part.

 

Put the crack pipe down, form complete sentences, then sell your car and buy a ricer or a really tight honda civic yo. Cause that sounds more in your alley .
