What to do about a Y pipe?

I'm getting SLP dual cat shorties REAL cheap, and want to have no cats. My rear O2's/air/egr are already disabled via madwolf PCM tune. Does anyone have any experience with the Stainless Works 96-97 O/R y pipe in Summit? Are there any other aftermarket Y pipes besides the Random Technology ones?

Why don't you just get a custom y-pipe made? Get a 3" one. Flow a lot better than any one out there b/c most are 2.5".

if you dont want to run cats, then dont go with dual cat headers. If the SLP's are like the MACs, then the drivers sid will be really short to accomadate that coffee can cat

Yeah I know, but $20 for headers.......

There's no way I'm passing up this offer, and they have 1 3/4" primaries, so.....

I don't have anyone local that can make the Y pipe...

Just Re-Sell The headers.. Then get a single cat setup...

You'll be more happy with the single-cat setup, As long as emmisons isnt a problem for you...

Turn $20.00 into 2 or 300 and get a better setup or get a stainless works off-road y-pipe and be done with it ....

lol, no one has even heard of palm city......there's people around here who weld, they just charge ridiculous amounts of money for it. Some guy wanted $350 for a custom Y pipe.....another guy wanted $700 labor ALONE for a gear install. Get what I'm saying? That's why I'd rather just go with an aftermarket Y pipe.
