When you say LT4, are you referring to an entire LT4 motor or just the LT4 heads/cam on top of an LT1 block? Also, it is definitely possible, an LT1 is a pretty popular swap into a third gen car. However, a project like that is by no means cheap. Especially when you throw a blower kit into the mix.

It really depends on your budget. A supercharged motor with all the supporting mods and a forged shortblock can easily run you over 10 grand. If you can afford that kind of commitment, then by all means. What kind of power goals are you looking for? How much money are you willing to commit?

I want at least 400 to 450hp at of LT1 but i was thinking of turning the LT1 into a LT4 to get that much power. I can still live if it doesn't have a blower. sometimes i just think ahead of myself.

If you are looking to achieve 400-450 horsepower at the flywheel, a decent heads/cam package will get you there. Look into www.eportworks.com, he is pretty popular on here and his heads/cam combos work nicely if you are confined to a tight budget.
