What is the differance?
Whats the differance between a LT1 block and a regular late model 350 block?
Anything? I'm about to start building a 383 for my car and need to know if I have to use a LT1 block.

They are different castings, most notably to do with the water pump and cooling passages. You cannot directly swap an SBC block for an LT1 block.
