I said BLACK. It's not hard to diagnose a leak, I don't know why you would say that.. You will be able to see any leaks just fine...

I would either do black or red. Orange would look GAY IMO SO would yellow, and blue.. Well depends on the blue but I think it would still look really tacky

I say do the black. I painted mine black. You will be able to detect a leak if you really look for it but also a bonus is dirt and oil doesn't stand out as well on a black block as it would with another color. I think it looked really sweet when the motor was out and i had a black block and nice fresh aluminum heads and a black intake with the aluminum color fins.

I love the color of my block, it's a nice shiny aluminum looking finish. Check out the pictures in my signature.

I'm going to have mine powder coated red. But then again, my whole car is red. If I had a black car, I would say either black or yellow.

I like yellow. Look at the engine at the bottom of the March pulley web page.

I think the contrast to black would be sharp and having the block a light color helps to find things like leaks (which I hope you never have).

I painted the block in my black WS6.....black. Didn't give it too much thought to be honest. You really can't see much of it with everything put back together.

Supposedly black will also help your car make better hp due to the theory that it retains the heat in your engine better witch will lead to lower under hood temps. I think it also leads to higher combustion chamber temps and that also makes power,I read this in car craft and hot rod a few years ago and have painted mine black ever since. Really cant tell you if it works or not But all the factorys seem to do it so maybe there is somthing to it?
