What to clean MAF sensor with?

What to clean MAF sensor with?

Just like it says, what should i use to clean my maf sensor with. The little wires and **** look dirty, and are coated in a thin layer of black stuff. What wont damage it and what is the proper procedure for doing so? thanks guys

electrical contact cleaner, spray it down and let it air dry

don't put it in the dishwasher

where is a common/easy place to pick some of this electrical cleaner up at?

Radio Shack carries contact cleaner.

Any general purpose cleaner that doesn't leave a residue is fine.

Radio shack carrys it its in a white can and has a tiny brush on the end. dont use the brush just use the cleaner and let it air dry.

I use carb clean or non-chlorinated brake clean, never had a problem
