I have never heard the dynomax, but I like the magnaflow. I LOVE my TSP rumbler though.

Just put a Magnaflow on mine several weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Mine is a '95 though. Good quality stuff, sweet looking polished stainless tips. Louder than stock, but not obnoxiously so, nice sound to it!

magnaflow v hooker

hooker and magnaflow are both good. Hookers a little cheaper, but not stainless, and according to some tests I have seen, it flows a little less. Magnaflow is quiet until you stomp it, does not drone, flows good, and stainless. I have magnaflow but I belive I could have gone with hooker and been happy to. LS1sounds.com
check that site for sounds and info

magnaflow rocks, thats what I have, and I couldn't be happier. Like said above, quiet until you stomp on it. Sounds great throughout the rpm range

on my bolt on LT1...with a magnaflow catback...a cutout only picked up 4rwhp on the dyno.

so it flows very well
looks great
sounds great
and after 7yrs, 3 cars...it still was about 90% as good looking as new

i'd buy one again...kindda did...have the 4x9s on my duals right now

What are these "mufflers" you speak of?

Avoid the flowmaster 80 series like the plague. A pair of 40's sound real nice, but dont really fit.

I have the Magnaflow and it sounds good, its all stainless, its affordable, and good quality. However, I am partial to the sound of the Hooker catback, if they were to make it in stainless steel, I would have bought that instead.
