What Cat-back should i use???

im looking for sound clips/suggestions on what cat back i should go with....i've narrowed it down to using the mac headers/ypipe/offroadpipe(dont ask its set in stone lol).....

But what catback should i use???? i will consider anybodys suggestions for a complete cat-back system........i really need sound clips and people's opinions on how they sound w/o cats or w/cats.......

just so you know, im looking for something w/avg. gains(nothing insane) and very very very minimal interior resonance.......thanks in advance for all your input!

SLP, Hooker, mufflex, GMMG, and Corsa are all badass, but truly i think the best system out there is still the Borla catback. Well.......i guess, get anything thats not flowmaster!!!!!!

i realize im being a ***** and wasting ppl's time with this thread as everyones opinions are different....but anybodys .02 is welcome, please

if you're on a budget, then give SLP a call. i dont have any sound clips but i have owned the SLP 2OTL exhaust and i can tell you that it is not too loud but it is probably the system with the deepest sound and the least backfire. only $349 i think. if you want loud, then get the Loudmouth which is also pretty cheap.

Interior resonance wise the catback is almost similar to the loudness is slightly louder than stock. Outside the car is so much of a world of difference from inside the car. When I go WOT while inside the car I can hear it scream slightly, but I hear much more of my engine. It really just depends, when its cold in the morning such a good nice loud. Crusing around you can hear it if you are listening to it but if not it does not really get bothersome or drive your ears crazy how I hear the Loudmouth does.

My 2¢ - I just did a search on 'cat-back' and got 55 posts. That's a lot of opinions, dude.

I have the Magnaflow cat-back and I love it!

Here's before:
Stock exhaust

And with Magnaflow:
Magnaflow cat-back

I recorded both from the same place relative to the rear of the car which was basically center of the car, about 3-6 feet behind the car. They were recorded with my laptop so they're not perfect. My laptop was sitting on the ground. The only thing that changed was the catback.

The get the full effect of the cat-back, play the stock one and get the volume set for it, THEN play the magnaflow one. That will really let you see the difference between the two.
