what can i use to block off the egr ?

what can i use to block off the egr ?

is ther anything that i can use to block off the egr fitting on my long tubes ?

Well the AIR Fittings at the front are 3/4 fine thread so you could use some short bolts or some plugs.
The EGR you could block with a small piece of flat plate with a hole drilled in it for the bolt.
TPiS makes a billet piece but it's 12.00 plus shipping

Your local GM dealership sells them for less than $10.. Just tell them you need a EGR block off plate for a 96 LT4 corvette ....

Your local GM dealership sells them for less than $10.. Just tell them you need a EGR

this is what i need for the egr flange on the header
?

has anyone sealed there egr on there header with it on your car? i can barley even touch it. any tips thanks

I did, using the plates that I mentioned the post above yours. It was actually pretty easy.

i lost my bolt that goes to the headers, what kind bolt did u use to mount the egr block off plate

I stuck a dime in the orifice. Works great. It's cheap. Nobody can can see that it is ghetto. Ooops, now everybody knows.

No that is not what you need i misread your post i thought you were talking about the manifold where the egr mounts...... But if you are blocking the one off on the header why not pull the egr and block it off along with the one that runs from the header to the back of the intake also

I would but i dont have the plates yet , i jus never in stalled it on my header it was jus hanging there , wouldnt the header leak with that egr flange open?

I gobbed it up a bit with a bit of high temp RTV to stop it moving around and stuck it in place.
